Our Services

Health for Life provides the very best in health & fitness training. We specialize in 1 on 1, partnered and group training.

Using the latest and most advanced training techniques, we guarantee that we will improve your health, fitness & well being.   We understand that everyone is different, that is why every program and routine is individually created to suit your fitness and lifestyle needs.

The first step is to appraise your health & fitness which consists of the following tests to the right.

On completion of your assessment an individualized program is developed.

Please note our health & fitness assessment is completely optional!

We then provide our clients with our ‘Ultimate Lifestyle Diary’ it has all you need to know to achieve your health & fitness goals.
At Health for Life we are about long term change that is why we put so much time into educating our clients on health, fitness, nutrition & lifestyle the diary is a great tool as it makes our clients accountable & then we work together to make the appropriate changes needed for a healthier happier you.

Health for Life trainers are passionate about helping you adopt a healthier lifestyle and will do everything we can to help you achieve your health and fitness goals.

The first step is to do a health appraisal
which consists of the following tests:

(Health Assessment is Optional)

Body composition analysis
With body fat pinch test (7 sites) using callipers or bioelectrical impedance which is a non intrusive way to measure body composition.

Blood Pressure
Blood pressure measures the force of contraction of the heart to push blood around the body.
Girth Measurements
Girth measurements are a useful guide in evaluating body changes that occur as a result of exercise.
Flexibility
Flexibility is an integral part of any person’s health program. Through simple tests we are able to ascertain your degree of static flexibility (range of movement). Maintaining good joint mobility and limber muscles will improve the chances of avoiding a lot of aches and pains
Resting Pulse
Your heart rate at rest is the minimum amount of work required by the heart to sustain life.
Posture Assessment
Muscles will work minimally if posture alignment is good, less chance of muscle tightness. The status of an individual’s posture can affect the exercises given. 
Cardiorespiratory Fitness
In this test your heart rate response to exercise is measured to enable us to estimate your aerobic capacity (fitness level). 
Assessments to be made by GP which are optional:
- Cholesterol count
- Glucose tolerance
- Insulin sensitivity (diabetes test)

One on One Sessions
One on one training is the best way to achieve results.
We recognise that time is at a premium, so we develop a program that fits in with your lifestyle, ensuring that the time you have to exercise is of the highest quality, so we can maximize results. We believe personal training is more than just the hour session you spend with your trainer some of our clients train with us daily & others 1 -2 times per week. For these clients we give a weekly plan of exactly what they should be doing, so on the days they are not with us they have a personalized program to follow. We also provide our clients with nutrition advice & direction, a great tool we use is our ‘Ultimate Lifestyle Diary’ which has everything you need to know to achieve your goals part of the diary is we request our clients fill out an eating & exercise diary to keep them accountable & on track to achieving their goals. Health for Life Group Sessions
The Health for Life group sessions are designed to make our bodies function better using functional movement patterns in a high intensity format for maximum energy expenditure & maximum results.
Our group sessions are great for variety, shocking the body & pushing your body that little bit harder to get the results. Because we keep the groups relatively small it is very personalized which a lot of our clients enjoy because you’re still getting a personalized session but at a more affordable price. All fitness levels are welcome - our trainers are very experienced enabling us to cater for all fitness levels in our group classes.

Group session times

Tuesday - Centenary Park 6.15am
Thursday - At the studio 5.30am
Saturday - At the Studio 8am


It is important you call to confirm & to talk with one of our trainers to discuss your current health & fitness status before commencing group training. This is important so we know what you can & can't do during the session
